Settling in

The majority of dogs settle in very well when boarding, especially if they are introduced to kennels at an early age. If they start coming when young, say at about 4-6mths of age it makes it a natural experience for him and he will accept this new adventure more readily. Some dogs don’t adapt to a kennel environment, especially if they are older, so I feel it is a good idea to start your dog off with a taster day and then a short stay before leaving him for a longer holiday. I want your dog to enjoy his holiday so if he hasn’t stayed here before it is essential you book a free taster day for your dog first. This is beneficial for your peace of mind and gives me and your dog chance to bond before his holiday. The taster day is free of charge and should be arranged as soon as possible, subject to your dog having the appropriate vaccinations. Because i care about your dogs welfare and I want all the dogs to enjoy their holiday with me I will always advice you after the taster day if he has not settled in well. If your dog is not suited to boarding in a kennels we can offer alternative care, see the Animal Aunties pet sitting service

Prices depend on what breed/size dog you have and the length of your booking. Please telephone for a quote and details of my opening hours.
